![]() something with a slight upgrade in overall image quality and improved low light/high iso… WITH a nice cool retro style… for me, 2 cameras fall into that category. I really look forward to seeing whatever updated updates you have on the new 3.1 firmware update.Īnybody else who has a X-Pro 1 and has updated with the new 3.1 firmware, please also share your experience and insights as to how much it has improved the X-Pro 1.Īgain, I’m pretty damn happy with my Olympus E-M1, but I would like a 2nd camera for added fun and something different. ![]() I am anxious to see the latest 3.10 firmware update as it is suppose to also improve OVF frame line accuracy… I know if you want perfect frame lines and accurate composition you should just switch to the EVF, but the OVF has it’s own pleasure in usage and I am hopeful providing more accurate frame lines using the OVF with the latest firmware update will make it that much more enjoyable and reliable to use. very useable, from what I’ve read so far. though, the latest updates seem to make the X cameras overall perform so much better these days. For me, the focusing issues made me sell my Fuji X cameras. I had a X100 & X10 and loved the image quality… dynamic range, detail and color renditions just looked right to me… I imagine the same with the X-Pro 1. It would probably be my recreational camera to keep handy and just take pics with a fixed prime lens and be happy like that. But, I’d like to eventually pick up a X-Pro 1 someday just for a different type of shooting experience… I like the style and the image quality, especially at lower light and higher ISO’s are impressive alone just to have and use. My Olympus OM-D E-M1 fills a lot of photographic needs very well right now, a great pro-level workhorse camera, actually. I think more of the issues you wanted resolved with the X-Pro 1 such as more auto ISO customizing is supposed to be released with the latest firmware 3.10 update… which was suppose to have been released, but has been delayed till, hey! which is tomorrow!… I can hardly wait to see how this latest firmware update will improve this camera which I’ve been tempted to pick up for a long time, but have held off because it didn’t quite feel complete and lacked in a few areas.
